The PS Plus Extra and Premium games line-up for May 2023 will be available to download from around 1pm BST / 8am EDT / 5am PDT today, with some fantastic titles set to be made available for both PS4 and PS5. It's worth noting that a lot of them are games available physically - and pretty cheaply on the second-hand market, too.PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be able to download a bunch of new titles later today, but there are some big games being removed too. Some of these games may also be available on the PS Plus Extra/Premium tiers if you can't access a PS5 in time to claim them, but there's no guarantee they won't be removed in the future.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles.Once you claim the games, you'll be able to continue playing them for as long as you have an active subscription (even if you leave and then come back). Meanwhile, the PlayStation Plus Collection is a selection of games available to subscribers on all tiers - but you need to be on a PS5 console to claim them, and do so before May 9. If you want to carry on playing these games after that date, you'll need to buy them or hope they get re-added. Pathfinder: Kingmaker- Definitive Edition.Marvel's Spider-Man (standard/ Game of the Year Edition).Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy!.Here is the list of the Extra/Premium games leaving the service on May 16: Hopefully, it will return (along with its PS5 remaster) in the lead-up to the sequel.

Its status as a licensed title is likely the reason, but it's still a shame. The big one is the removal of Marvel's Spider-Man, which is a Sony first-party title and therefore the kind of game you'd expect to stay on their subscription service in perpetuity.
